“This” may be the saving grace during this time
How can you expect to really reach a level of excellence of becoming, for example, an excellent healer or artist or writer and change the lives of hundreds if not thousands of people without ever trying, without ever practicing and putting yourself out there.
I want to invite you today into a practice of really looking at your life and where you are holding yourself back because you’re waiting until you reach a level of perfection.
As the saying goes “Criticism is a spectator’s sport.” It is something that we apply when we lack understanding of the depths and the strength and the courage it takes to do the work.
So today is a day of softening. Softening the criticism that you have for yourself and softening this idea of perfectionism that you are holding yourself to.
Someone that has taught me this is Vianna Stibal, the founder of ThetaHealing. A gift that she shares with us is her imperfections.
She’s changing hundreds and thousands of people’s lives not because she is perfect, but because she is courageous.
Be a little brave and know that you are on the journey of stepping into your mastery, stepping into your gifts, and have patience with yourself and some compassion along the way.
